After posting this review I got a phone call apologizing profusely, and explaining the miscommunication that led there. I believe that showing the care for the situation is far more important than the mistake made, so I am very appreciative to the staff for caring enough to reach out to me.*original review *The service provided was good, however this place isn’t great if you’re trans. I asked the person at the front desk if I could change my name in their system, and they explained that they can’t because it’ll make it hard to process the insurance. That totally makes sense, no worries. However, there was no option to add a preferred name, or the person at the desk just didn’t care to mention it. And in the same conversation she referred to me by my dead name twice, despite knowing that isn’t the name I go by. She also failed to pass that info onto the hygienist, which means my deadname was then presented to the waiting room, and everyone there waiting. It’s not the end of the world, it just kinda leaves me with a sucky feeling.

Dr Shivji is incredibly kind and caring, always going over and above to ensure his patients are comfortable and have a positive outcome.My entire family actually looks forward to our visits 😊The office staff and dental professionals greet you like you’re their best friend. Dr. Shivji is one of the Dentists I consider the best in the field. He is genuine in his concern, care and respect for me as a patient and person. He's got the lightest hands and consistently monitored my comfort. The staff and Dental assistants are as caring and friendly. I strongly recommend Dr. Shivji to anyone who requires dental work.

Everyone was so nice and thoughtful. Was able to have both my kids seen to and my own cleaning and exam done at the same time. It was pure magic! The hygenists and dentist were really great with my kids :) Thank-you!
