I made my appointment in January based on my insurance app of in network dentists. My previous dentist retired and the new practice did not accept my insurance. I called my former dental practice and had them forward all dental records including digital X-rays. They called last week stating that they didn’t receive all X-rays and I would have an out of pocket expense of $110.00. I stated that all X-rays should have been forwarded then I was told Oops yes, I see them we’re all set see you on 4/1/2025 at 9:30 a.m. I arrived today, signed in then I’m told the X-rays sent weren’t very clear and I would have to spend $ 125.00 today for new X-rays before being seen. First of all it when from $110.00 to $125.00. 🤔 Hmmm!! Second Digital X-ray photos should be clear. Perhaps they needed to calibrate the photos o their end for a better image or asked to have them resent for a clearer image. Was told I could call former dentist and ask them to resend. Decided this was not the place for me!! They weren’t even willing to ask for former practice to resend images; would just rather charge new patients for unnecessary X-rays. Lazy… if not willing to to this, don’t need their lazy behinds looking in my mouth!!!

great emphoyees starting at the front desk. Up to date equipment. I received a good deal of useful information from Connie, the hygienst who did the ex rays and did a detailed teeth cleaning. Dr. Ascana was great too. Altogether a very postive experience.

My 88 year-old mom had her initial appointment with Gentle Dental and we were both very pleased with the whole experience. Everyone was kind and helpful, from the initial phone call to making the follow up appointment. Dr. Ascano along with Lisa and Melanie were thorough, professional and put my mom at ease right from the start. We highly recommend this office if you're looking for a dentist!

Only bad thing I had to say is I didn't get called back until about 40 mins after my scheduled appt.Dental hygenist was very nice and made me feel good about my anxiety. Dr. Mitchell was awesome about my anxiety and was patient with me, and didnt rush through the exam. Definitely going back and will be letting friends and family know where to go if they need a dentist. :)

After my dentist office closed, I was able to get an appointment within a week. The staff retrieved my file and understood my treatment plan and goals. All questions and concerns were answered and addressed. I appreciate the sensitivity and professionalism.
