Nice place, nice people, but a frustrating billing experience.I had an issue with my billing where I was overcharged. At my time of service, I noticed that the charges didn’t seem to align with my insurance policy. When I brought this up, I was assured that their numbers were correct and that if any discrepancy arose with insurance, they would contact me.However, when I received my Explanation of Benefits, it confirmed that I had indeed been overcharged. I waited three months for Downers Grove Dental Spa to reach out, but after hearing nothing, I had to follow up myself. It then took nearly two more months of back-and-forth—requiring me to call almost weekly—before they finally resolved the issue by simply Zelling me the refund.I understand that mistakes happen, and I don’t judge businesses by errors alone, but rather by how they handle them. In this case, the response felt slow and unmotivated, which was disappointing.I hope this was just an isolated case rather than a common occurrence, but I wanted to share my experience so others are aware.(For context, this issue stemmed from my dental visit in August 2024, but I waited until it was fully resolved in March 2025 before writing this review.)

I had a filling and deep cleaning done here and both were extremely high quality at a great price. The office is brand new and incredibly high end and clean. I hadn't been to the dentist in a couple years because it was hard to find a good one but Doctor Ahmed and Gabi took really good care of me. Highly recommend for top quality care.

I needed an urgent appointment and was able to be seen same day. Dr Hegazy did a full exam and X-rays and explained the cause of my pain. He checked in while he was doing his work to make sure nothing was hurting and I was ok. The staff was professional and explained my benefits to me up front which I appreciated! The office is new and I can see all the equipment/tools are state of the art! I will be moving my care and my family’s care here! Thanks Downers Grove Dental Spa for a great experience!

This office is state of the art, beautiful and zen, you truly feel like you are at a dental spa! The docs are so patient-centric and willing to go above and beyond with their time to ensure you feel valued. I am transferring all of my dental care services here.
