Based on the online reviews available, patient experiences appear to be significantly divided. One review describes a generally positive initial experience with the staff and dentist, noting their kindness, respectfulness, and accommodation when treating a child with deep cavities. However, this reviewer expresses concerns regarding the number of appointments required for the fillings, the brevity of each appointment, and a lack of follow-up care. Subsequently, the child experienced severe tooth pain, and it was discovered by another dentist that some fillings had fallen out and a remaining cavity had worsened, necessitating a root canal. The reviewer, identifying as a medical professional, expresses disappointment and worry about the negative impact on their child's perception of dental care.
In contrast, another review presents a highly negative experience, alleging unprofessional behavior from Dr. Wing. This reviewer claims their concerns about their daughter's long baby teeth were ignored, leading them to seek a second opinion from another dentist who recommended orthodontic treatment after taking X-rays. The reviewer further states that when they brought this to Dr. Wing's attention, they and their children were asked to leave the office. This reviewer describes Dr. Wing as rude and uncaring when concerns are raised and strongly advises against bringing children to this practice.
Given these contrasting and concerning accounts, it is crucial for local users in US to carefully consider this information. While one patient initially reported positive interactions, significant issues regarding the quality and thoroughness of treatment, as well as unprofessional conduct, have been raised by other patients. If you are considering Wing Randall C DDS, it is strongly recommended that you contact the practice directly to inquire about their services, qualifications, and approach to patient care. Wing Randall C DDS Reviews
We were referred here by our family dentist for my seven year old who had a few very deep cavities. We loved the staff and the dentist. Everyone was kind, respectful, and very accommodating. However, we had to make at least four appointments just to get my son’s cavities done. This meant my son had to miss school each time. Each appointment was very brief which seemed odd to me. My son had perfect behavior and never so much as winced during a filling. We were assured all of his cavities were all set. No follow up. Then my son began complaining of severe tooth pain some months later and said he had fillings that fell out. We brought him to another area dentist who confirmed some fillings fell out and one cavity was left and it had gotten so bad that my son now needs a root canal. I never leave negative reviews for anyone, being a medical professional myself I completely understand that everyone has different experiences and understanding of things. However, my son is now in so much pain that I worry he will always have negative feelings regarding going to the dentist. I am not sure what happened but I’m pretty sure that everything was not taken care of like it was supposed to have been.
Jan 06, 2023 · Kelly DiDioDr wing is extremely unprofessional. My daughter had very long baby teeth and instead of doing an x-ray he ignored it. I took her to my dentist for a second opinion who immediately sent her to an orthodontist. Then the orthodontist did X-rays and learned my daughter will need spacers and braces. When I brought this to dr wings attention he kicked my kids out of the office, which I was planning on leaving anyway. But instead of apologizing for ignoring my concerns and he was wrong, he just kicks people out. When you even try to bring up concerns he is rude and makes it known he doesn’t care. Do not bring your kids here. If I could give zero stars I would.
May 30, 2023 · Rachel PellegritiSo I would just like to share that today was my childrens first visit to Dr Wings office and we had a wonderful experience. From the second we walked in the girls at the front desk were warm and inviting and made us feel so welcome. The office itself was very clean and so kid friendly. My daughter is usually pretty good with any doctor but my son has Autism and can really get nervous and full of anxiety and Dr Wing and his staff were patient and understanding of his feelings. They informed him of everything that was going on before they did it and they really took their time with him. I will highly recommend Dr Wing to my friends who need a great pediatric dentist
Sep 20, 2022 · Isabella JacksonCompletely disappointed in this practice. We've been going there for nearly 7 years with our 3 children and the level of care and compassion has completely gone downhill in the past few months. I did notice there were staff changes, and I know that can be difficult sometimes, but the overall care of Dr. Wing has been horrible. My 5 year old went in in January and was told he needed fillings. The Dr. did attempt to do them but my son was less than enthusiastic. In the end, we decided we'd wait a few months to try again, since they were not bad.I called today to have him seen and the dentist blatantly refused to see him citing that the "tooth was too decayed for him to do." Unbeknownst to me, Dr. Wing is not just a dentist, but also a psychic. Considering he hasn't seen my son in months and back when he did, he said the cavities weren't bad and we could wait until his June cleaning to address them again, I'm failing to see how he can see inside his mouth, over a phone, from 2 towns away.I spoke with the new receptionist again, asking if I was hearing her correctly: That my child's pediatric dentist is refusing to see my child and HELP him, while he's in pain. I heard correctly.I highly do NOT recommend this practice and I will be taking my children to a new practice that actually cares.
Jun 07, 2021 · Jenilee TedescoI do NOT recommend Dr. Wing. He’s very inconsistent with his mood and attitude. We have been going to his office for about 10 years and I knew the reviews weren’t great. But my daughter did like going there… until recently. I’ve noticed a lot of staff changes over the years (red flag #1 maybe), but our recent appointment where my daughter needed two baby teeth extracted (simple) was a disaster. I had a question about the letter from the orthodontist and possibly keeping 1 of the teeth in (as a space filler) that set Dr. Wing off. I really was “on the same page” as the orthodontists recommendation, but Dr. Wing just decided he no longer wanted to do the procedure. He half-heartedly contacted the orthodontist and came back to say he couldn’t get in touch with them (despite my orthodontist confirming they did call him back within a few minutes). It wasn’t because of the question or any confusion about the teeth or procedure that was most upsetting to me. It was the fact that Dr. Wing was very rude to me. He kept interrupting me when I would try to talk or ask a question. He had no interest in what I wanted to say or ask – he was just done with us and kept telling me to go back to the orthodontist. I was stunned; and as he pivoted out of the office to leave he snarks back “You’re Welcome!” (I had certainly not thanked him…. for nothing). My daughter was very upset when we left. She said she felt awkward and she didn’t like how he was talking to me and kept telling us to leave. I will also add, there have been some cleaning appointments in the past where he wasn’t even there. The hygienist (who was great) would do the cleaning and then that’s it – no final check from a dentist (red flag #2).
