I would give them a zero if I could. Top gum dental seriously discriminates against low-income patients. They treat them like they're second class citizens. First of all Medicaid patients appointments get scheduled 6 months out and you told they don't have anything sooner. "Which I happen to know for a fact was not true". But then anytime any other patient with apparently better insurance need the appointment time that you happen to have, they just pushed you back further. My daughter's appointment had been rescheduled at least five times. When they called to move it sooner I was thrilled. 30 minutes later I get a call back saying oh somebody else got that spot so we'll have to push you back even further back then the appointment was when they called me 30 minutes earlier. I complain about it so the doctor calls me back 5 hours later and drops my child as they're patient. They need to figure out how to get their scheduling dealt with and stop discriminating against poor people. They are horrible people!!! I work my butt off and I happen to be a single parent at this time in my life. I'm sorry we don't all have such wonderful cushy lives with two incomes and can afford expensive dental insurance. That doesn't mean my child's teeth should be neglected because of greedy dentists.
