Buying a mattress in 2024 feels worse than a used car salesman. I was given a great deal on an outlet beautyrest black . The 3k mattress was on sale at outlet for 1,200$ . I made the deal boy do I regret it . Let’s be clear they don’t clean anything it showed up unsealed just light ripped apart plastic hanging on for dear life on one corner . They made sure to rip the rest away before I could photograph. I am allergic to cats and the mattress clearly has a cat odor/residue and had little white hair I had to vacuumed off . They only take back certain sleep warranty material and that’s the “cleaning” no actual cleaning just a “standard” cause it kinda had a slight used smell also, you would think it would have a nice chemical smell no . The bottom had weird marks like it was on a dirty floor the guy said were normal . My brand new mattress is as good as a free Facebook marketplace mattress 😂 . I had to buy a cover cause I was itchy 2 weeks later conforming my 🐱 theory . I got it to my standards after the 2 real cleaning I gave it (last pic) but just feel I spent to much for what I got 🤷🏻‍♂️. No free base no free cover 1,200 on a used mattress not outlet used pre owned
