I made the appointment after confirming with the receptionist that I did not need to do bitewing xrays (they make me gag and vomit), and she assured me they do panoramic so it's not a problem. Coming in, the doctor refuses to treat me without the xrays.Given the recent JAMA research about negative effects of unnecessary dental xrays and radiation, as well as the ADA recommendations *against* annual xrays, this is unacceptable.Find a practice that isn't just out to take your time and money and go elsewhere.
