Endodontics of Atlanta Reviews
I came in for an emergency root canal a bottom molar. They fit me in in less than 24 hours. Becca made me feel so comfortable and was a magician dealing with my tiny mouth. She gave me the best tips for reducing my anxiety and made everything run smoothly for me and the Dr. Doctor Waters took the time to explain why a root canal wasn't the best option for that specific tooth. He also found a tooth root abscess in a total different tooth and was willing to pivot the plan to deal with that problemed tooth. He could have charged me for two root canals, but was honest about the best plan for me, the patient. Respect! This was one of the best experiences with a dental practice that I have ever had!
Nov 20, 2024 · Rebecca RaymondI had to go in for a root canal. The experience was as pleasant as it could be considering the type of procedure. Dr. Waters makes you feel comfortable and navigates the whole process to make it as painless as possible. Great endodontist!
Oct 15, 2024 · Francine DavisI am so grateful that Dr. Byun saw me for an emergency root canal on a Friday!!! I called several locations as my tooth infection gave me so much pain I was unable to sleep. I couldn’t wait the weekend to go to the referral my dentist gave me the upcoming Monday. I definitely took a risks by searching the internet however it was the best decision I could have made. I knew I was in good hands as soon as the intake process began at Endodontics of Atlanta. The online form was very thorough and i was reassured of my intuition as soon as I met Dr.Byun I could tell he knew what he was doing and all the equipment and type of x-rays they took. I was actually quite scared because I knew if I go to a endodontist who doesn’t do a good job my infection could spread or I might be in more pain! I remember my dentist telling me that the root canal that I need to is a complex one because it’s on my far back molar with lots of nerves connected to the sinus etc. so I took a chance that I knew I had to and am beyond grateful that I was lucky to meet the best because Dr.Byun did a great job! I hardly felt anything and had close to no swelling and today day 3 I am pretty much back to normal! I def plan to recommend to my dentist Dr.Mansouri refer root canals to him and if I ever need one again I know who to call. Thank you for being available on a Friday and seeing me so last minute when you are in so much pain and all the other offices are closed and you feel like there is no hope and yet you find the very best doctor one word THANKFUL!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I rarely give reviews because it takes my time but there is no other way to convey my appreciation for taking care of me when I needed it most. Thank you again Dr. Byun I am grateful. - Bee

Sep 16, 2024 · Bee IntakanokWarning~ if you are a sensitive or anxious person, beware asking them any questions. The day OF my scheduled root canal- I called to ask some very simple questions about their procedures, among them- if it's policy that an assistant is in the room with the doctor during the procedure. I now understand that is common practice, but I did not know at the time- (have never had a cavity)-and just wanted to ask if I was going to be alone in the room with my doctor during the procedure. The associate seemed off-put by my question and continued asking me what my concern was, stating that they don't lock the doors, which I never asked. A few minutes later she called to tell me that they cancelled my appointment, bc the doctors were not comfortable treating me. This was an urgent appointment and I communicated to her there must be a miscommunication and apologized and said I was just asking about procedures and that I was fine with whatever their policies were. She insisted I could not be seen- said the office manager would call me back. After over an hour of waiting for the callback and wondering if I could still be seen- I called to follow up. Brad- their marketing manager told me when patients ask a question that is a standard procedure- that is a "red flag" that they're a "problem patient". I found myself apologizing to him- which I regret and definitely should not have done. I asked them to please let me keep my appointment- that I was just anxious and asking some questions to get more comfortable. I begged him to have the doctors reconsider. He said there wasn't anything they could do. Two hours later the office manager called me back- her name is Rachel-she was kind- informative and apologized to me. I appreciated that. However, them cancelling my urgent appointment just because I asked a question has put me in a hardship and now delays my needed dental treatment even more. This practice- at the very LEAST- is NOT trauma informed- or sensitive to very easy and simple inquiries from potential patients. I hope going forward they treat future people with more care. Definitely don't go if you have a need to ask questions! For whatever reason they are not comfortable with that and to me THAT is a red flag. Find a place that won't turn you away because you are inquisitive!
