I had a tiny little chip on my tooth so I went to her and asked her to put a filling on my tooth to prevent a root canal. She refused to do so and pushed me to get a crown instead (I bet because it cost 10 times more than a filling). She checked my insurance and said my crown wasn’t accepted until the year is over which was another 2 months. So she put a filling on my tooth and had me come back in 2 months for the crown, of course I had to pay for that filling. My tooth was perfectly fine with that filling and I should’ve just kept it that way, but I kept my words to come back in 2 months for the crown. As she was grinding my tooth I felt a really sharp pain and that’s when I knew she hit my nerve and caused me a root canal which I was afraid of and came to her to prevent in the first place. I told her it hurt me but she still put a crown on it. My pain was severe for a few days so she referred me to a specialist to get a root canal done. I asked the specialist and another dentist for their opinions and they both said she should have left my tooth alone. Horrible experience with her. She messed up my tooth badly. I paid her lots of money for both filling and the crown and she sold me on a retainer for another $500, but she messed up my tooth badly. I made a bad mistake for coming to see her."
