Dr. Colgan gave me a root canal in the mid 1990s when I lived near Claycomo (I soon moved to Oklahoma, where I have lived since). A recent conversation with co-workers reminded me of his name again, and I was pleased to see he still practices in Liberty. I recall utmost care and professionalism, but the main point is that I had a 4-root molar that broke and needed a root canal, urgently, to avoid infection. There was very little pain after he finished, and I never needed the Tylenol w/Codeine he prescribed. Back then dentists used metal crowns. That crown remains firmly in place today, nearly 30 years later. Almost every year, my longtime dentist here, Dr. Yeary, tells me, “that guy who put that crown on did one hell of a job!” That was Dr. Colgan. I trust he is still as good at root canals, if not better today, after all these years of additional practice."
