Do not trust this practice--it is a disgrace to modern dentistry. Just go read the 1 star reviews and you'll see why. I was told I had issues with my teeth and upon receiving TWO other outside opinions, found out that this information was FALSE. Read below:I saw Jay Chung in Winter of 2022. He was rude and scolded me for not having seen a dentist in a year and a half (part of it was Covid and part was a lapse in dental insurance). I take good care of my teeth, but he took the opportunity to be condescending about my situation. After my X-rays and exam, he told me that I have three cavities in three consecutive teeth. As someone who has gone my whole life without cavities (except for one very shallow one that I'd been having monitored for five years), I was very surprised by this news. However, he didn't show me the X-rays and point to the spots where the cavities were located, which I thought was weird. Every other dentist I've been through takes the time to pull up images and show you problem areas. Additionally, his hygienist was very rough in the cleaning--I've never bled more in my life during a cleaning--either she was intentionally aggressive or she struggles with fine motor control.I left the office feeling disappointed to hear that I'd managed to get three cavities but also so confused by the bizarre experience with both the hygienist and Chung's lack of professionalism. After sleeping on it, I decided to go get a second opinion because something felt off. Sure enough, they looked at the X-rays they took and also took an additional full set (for some reason he didn't do a full set even though I was due), and it was confirmed that I DID NOT have three cavities. I still had just the one shallow one that was too minor to be worth filling yet.Fast forward to 2.5 years later, I saw another dentist and told them about my experience at Chestnut Street Cosmetic Dent, and they AGAIN confirmed that I only have one small cavity that I have managed since 2017 that hasn't needed to be filled yet. I should have written this review way sooner, but it kind of went out of my mind. It wasn't until this recent visit that I felt it was my duty to write this review and warn people about this unethical man.I did try to confront Chung about his claim. He was rude to me when I requested my full records from his practice. And when I told him about his inaccurate assessment of my teeth, he did not respond. I see in other 1-star reviews that he will likely claim that I was never a patient there. If he does that to this review, I will update it with screenshots of our communication and my dental records. Don't trust this man with your care and well-being!

A very professional and personable dental practice. I so appreciate Dr. Chung for performing my check-up and cleaning himself. I am very happy with the quality of his care! His dental assistant and administrator are very personable. It's nice to go to a small practice that provides super consistent care.

Dr Chung did a very nice and smooth procedure on my teeth, I didn’t feel any pain during the entire procedure, his office is very well equipped and organized, staff are kind and friendly. Thank you Dr. Chung!
