Unfortunately, after waiting in the lobby for almost an hour for my first appointment, I threw in the towel and left having never been called back to see the dentist.The front desk employees were rude and unhelpful on the phone and in person.Booking an appointment I found difficult. In July of 2024, I had to be seen at advantage dental due to an infected wisdom tooth that spread to both sides of my jaw. I was told that I would have to be seen at the other location in Hillsboro due to there only being one provider on staff. I was then told by that location that I would have to wait until December to come in for my consultation because they did not have an assistant. The day of my appointment I was told that provider had to leave early and I would have to get an appointment in late January. In that time since July I have been in and out of the hospital due to illness, suffered migraines, and a reoccurring infection. I will be pursuing legal action due to their negligence and incompetence. I am not responsible for their staffing shortages and their lack of empathy for my situation is beyond infuriating. I have also reached out several times and not been able to get into contact with anybody so that I can be referred to a different clinic.

My wisdom tooth is literally shattered in half and any ordinary person would be able to see that I am not able to bite properly and hit the nerve when I eat. But she said there is absolutely nothing wrong with my teeth and did not even bother doing anything to help me with my severe pain. Don't go here.UPDATE: I switched dentists and my new dentist took pictures of that tooth and saw that there is a hole in my tooth. I reiterate again, do not go here at Advantage dental, they overlook many things such as my obvious cavity I had on my wisdom tooth. I am so glad I switched dentists. Advantage dental in Hillsboro they do not care about the patients one bit.

Only reason I went to this location (40+min drive mind you) was because it was the only advantage dental that had the soonest availability, and took my insurance. First time having dental bonding for a chipped tooth. I explained this on the phone when booking my appointment and in person. The dental assistant and dentist were surprised that I was there for dental bonding—while in the chair to be examined. The dentist (although seemingly nice) was very stressed out, and frustrated because he was overbooked and didn’t expect to have multiple patients at once (which I could understand completely, but also out of my control.) He seemed super frustrated, irritated, and rushed throughout my dental bonding, which resulted in a crappy dental bond. Color and shape were off, and when I mentioned this, he seemed annoyed to have to fix it. Mind you, I was his last patient for the day. He begrudgingly fixed what he could. I didn’t mention anything else because I knew he was ready to leave. He didn’t tell me how to care for the tooth or anything after, just told me he was done and I could leave. While I understand his frustration with the miscommunications of his office, I’m also left feeling like he did a rushed job and acted unprofessional.
