32 Good Reasons, this whole office, is a class act.Everyone from the dentists, receptionists, and dental assistants were exceptional. This office deals honestly with their customers. I noticed that a lot of dental offices, even when the dentist is competent, the receptionist and staff seem to have a chip on their shoulders as if they are doing you a favor by answering your questions. This office doesn't do it that.Dianna Lacktrup patiently helped me understand what my expected expenses would be, what the insurance would likely pay, what the insurance write off is. I went to other dentists and they give you the run around or say that they don't know. They care more about covering their own butt than giving you a realistic idea of how much the procedure will cost. It seems to me they have a lot of experience with insurance companies and that they can run that projection.Dr. Swedhelm did a three unit bridge for me. When I came to his office, I was very upset about the job the previous dentist had done.My 15 minute consult appointment turned into a one hour appointment. I was amazed how he patiently listened to my story, and said that he understood how I felt. Dr. Schwedlem's bed side manner made me feel assured and cared for. I was impressed with how informative and knowledgable he was. I felt like I was his dental student.I was not going to take a chance on another dentist. I brought a list of questions which he typed up and sent back to me with answers!!!I offered a few possibilities: high noble porcelain fused to metal bridge, an implant, he reasoned through all the possibilities and told me which he thought was the best. Based on his judgement, he said you'll probably be okay with with a zirconium bridge without a root canal.By the way, I love the zirconium bridge: it's thinner, it doesn't conduct heat and cold as readily, there's no unsightly line dark line on the gum--it looks beautiful.He expertly matched color, length, and shape.Patti was a pro at glueing back my temporary bridge when it had fallen out.Cavet: Dr. Swedhelm is only in that office a few days a week.I had a few requirement when looking for dentists:- Must be Delta Dental PPO dentist, since I did not want excessive out of pocket expenses- Be a Seattle Met, prosthodontist- Have good Yelp or social media reviewsI interviewed 4 dentists and Dr. Swedhelm was, in my opinion, the best. I also felt Dr. Alexander Shor, Dr. Timothy Buston could do the job.The office is nicely decorated during Halloween. He also has a wall of political buttons that his mother used to collect.Dr. Barlett and team thank you for running a superb office. I am a fan!!!* Note this review was for 5 years ago. However, 80% of this this review had been written within a few months of receiving my bridge.
