UW School of Dentistry Introduce
Considering the UW School of Dentistry, a Dental Clinic located at 1959 NE Pacific St B-307 in Seattle, Washington, for your dental care? Patient reviews provide insights into both positive and negative aspects of their experiences.
One patient who sought orthodontic treatment had a positive experience with the orthodontists themselves. However, they encountered significant issues with the billing department. This patient reported that it took over a year to resolve a billing error, describing the process as "incredibly frustrating" and time-consuming, with their bill being incorrectly marked as "90+ days overdue." Despite their health insurance provider contacting the billing department three times to point out the error and the patient leaving multiple voicemail messages over weeks without a response, the issue remained unresolved until the patient contacted the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
Another patient shared a very different and negative experience regarding their treatment. They underwent two and a half years of dental work and suggested that potential patients need significant "patience, time and money" to seek treatment here, implying that the duration may be considerably longer compared to other clinics. This patient expressed the concern that they felt like "the dentist's homework and the work needed for graduation," suggesting a lack of focus on individual patient needs and pain, with the primary goal being the completion of treatment before graduation. As a result of the treatment received, this patient now reports needing root canal treatment on several teeth, which they see as "a sign that they are not responsible for completing the work," ultimately leading to the need for "more treatment and payment."
Based on these reviews, local users considering the UW School of Dentistry should be aware that while the orthodontists are viewed positively by at least one patient, there are significant concerns regarding the billing department's responsiveness and accuracy, as well as the overall treatment experience. One patient reported a very painful and prolonged treatment with outcomes suggesting potential issues with the quality of care. Potential patients may want to weigh the potential cost benefits of a teaching institution against the reported challenges in billing and treatment experience. For appointments or inquiries, you can contact them at (206) 616-6996 or via mobile phone at +1 206-616-6996. No specific details about the clinic's environment or a comprehensive list of all services offered can be reliably ascertained from these reviews.

UW School of Dentistry Reviews
If I was able to leave a negative 5 I would. I have been waiting 2wks for the return call that their answering machine said will take 1-2business days and they add please be patient due to the schools staffing issues. First of all they need to edit the recording to say return call in 1-3 business weeks. Secondly I work in the medical field and yes staffing issues are very, very real; but if we took two weeks to return a patients call, heads would roll and people may die. Beyond disgusting service (no service actually); good luck getting someone to return your call; they DO NOT pick up their phone on initial call and they DO NOT return calls. This is not a free service, they charge a fee for their work; as such they are a 'business' but they are a business with an 'F' rating. Next stop BBB to hopefully leave a blistering review there as well.
