I have gone here for three root canals with a different endodontist each time. Each one is wonderful. Brenda, the front desk assistant, is phenomenal. She is warm and professional and will let you know upfront what to expect with payment or a payment plan. I have recommended this office to several people.

Short review: I've had three root canals total, but this was my first one at Uptown Endodontics. This place was by far the most painless experience I've ever had. I would DEFINITELY recommend my friends and family here.Longer Review: I was weary of going to this place since there were no reviews and I am new to the Salt Lake area; however, I couldn't have been happier with my procedure.The office is very clean and well kept, and the receptionist was very polite. My appointment was at 3:15pm, and I was greeted back as soon as I finished my new patient form. The dentist was quick to see me, and answered any questions I had. Very polite!The procedure went well. Dr. Groneman was very gentle throughout the procedure. I've never had someone so gentle with the drill!! He asked me multiple times throughout the procedure if I was doing okay, which is always great to hear.I can say honestly my procedure was 100% painless after the initial novocaine shot, and even that wasn't bad since he used a topical numbing solution before hand.If you are scared of the dentist, I would be sure to let them know before hand. I was never asked if I needed special accommodation, such as earplugs or music. This doesn't mean they don't have any, I just didn't ask. Be sure to say something when you call for your appointment.

I have had three root canals done by run of the mill family dentists and as far as I'm concerned they were medieval butchers in comparison. The shots hardly hurt at all (!) and I found the pricing structure to be VERY reasonable. Brian S. Groneman D.D.S. is the best of the best as far as I'm concerned and his staff is competent, friendly and helped get me in and out for two root canals (!!) in about an hour and forty minutes. Wow. I will NEVER have a root canal done by a family dentist again. EVER. See an Endodontist. Hands down.
