The front desk staff was very busy and professional, but I feel the system for providing service is not really patient-focused.My wife and I both had dental appointments scheduled for today. We called the office to ask if it would be okay to arrive a little late due to a blood test, and they told us no, that the appointments are always at 10 AM. I didn’t quite understand what that meant, but I assume they were saying that my appointment was at 10 AM, and my spouse's appointment was at 11 AM. We arrived 15 minutes before our appointment, at 9:45 AM. SO anyhow, We arrived at the clinic 15 minutes before my appointment, and For my 10 AM appointment, I completed all the EMR records and then waited. For my spouse's 11 AM appointment, we completed all the EMR data at 10:30 AM. However, they made us wait for more than a hour in the waiting chair. We were very disappointed and decided to cancel the service. The front desk agreed, said they would delete all my information, and assured me no charges would be processed because they were unable to provide service on this scheduled visit. I donot know yet, if they do scam. They finally apologized for the delay. We took the day off from work for this appointment, and it ended up being a very frustrating experience.

Highly recommend! I have LOTS of anxiety about going to the dentist. After this visit, I have become less nervous and go for regular check ups. Delana (hygienist) and her assistant Jen were amazing. They made me feel comfortable and talked me through the whole process. I can definitely tell this office has my best interest in mind!

Do not go to this dental office they are a complete scam. They have poor dental practices. They will try to schedule you for 10 appointment when they could have done it in 1 or 2. Just a trash dentist office.

I was customer of another Universtiy Dental Associates office w/o problemsAfter I moved here, twice in a row they tried to sneak extra treatments w/o asking (fluoride while cleaning). And lying while I confronted them. Last year finally I got the charges dropped with the intervention of my benefits agent. They kicked me out of the practice and they hanged up future conversations with the benefit agent.More than the little money they try to sneak, I'm worried what will happen if I ever need something more serious.

I had an emergency and called the office to see what I needed to do. I was able to get in the next morning. Dr. Kovicak did his magic. He worked for over 2 hours to save my tooth. He had to use all the tricks he had and I was able to walk out with my tooth repaired.. His dental assistant was fabulous and so kind. She was constantly reassuring me the entire time that everything was ok. I’ve been going to this office for almost 3 yrs, they all are so personable and caring. Everyone from the front desk to the hygienist Amy. She’s the bomb. I get the best cleaning. The doctor is so down to earth and makes you feel so comfortable and he explains everything and is upfront with what’s going on and what he can do or can’t do. Thank you all and I love this office.
