This is where I was born, but I’m sad to say that although the building is beautiful and the technology advanced the overall experience was really disheartening. We went in for an emergency for my mother and it took over 2 hours to get a simple X Ray! If the ER was packed the gills, I would be way more understanding, but the ER was completely EMPTY when we arrived. A good number of the personnel were chatty and a bit catty (When inquiring about getting help or speeding up the process) not to mention they had no sense of urgency. We did have a positive experience with a few medical professionals here, but the overall experience was marred by a lack of efficient service.

I would literally give this hospital zero stars if I could. Doctors don’t listen to you. They don’t write stuff in your chart. Or they tell you one thing and put something different in your chart. They don’t want to help you. This hospital is a disgrace. It seems like every hospital is like this nowadays unfortunately. Not sure where to go from here. It certainly won’t be here though.How can someone call patient relations when you guys don’t answer the phone?

The Worst experience of my life at a healthcare facility. Toxic work environment, hostile, Unsafe, unfair treatment! Disrespectful and rude co workers, unappreciative director Ellen Benson and her assistant supervisor Vlodamir . Who are terrible at running their department in sterile processing. They don't make any efforts to make any positive changes in their sterile processing department.They treat their travelers pretty bad.There's no respect or professionalism.Favoritism and toxic behaviors at its finest! I rather die than get any treatment at this hospital!

UConn Health honestly deserves much more than just 5 stars. I recently took my mother to the ER not too long ago. The entire facility is clean and well kept. Everyone is very nice, compassionate and professional including but not limited to the intake specialists, guards, doctors and resident doctors.For any and every appointment/selecting the best doctors I've officially found my go-to place for myself and my family.

Visited the outpatient area on the 6th floor and for someone with an issue with heights I found the area frightening with the massive amount of glass enclosure with the view 6 floors down to the ground and not to mention the bridge to crossover from one area to the next with the height and glass enclosure from ceiling to floor….ugghI am sure the building contractor and personnel think this is modern and cute, but certainly not for those of us with a fear. Hopefully wont be back!!!🤨
