First, I want to admit I haven't been to the dentist in several years. A few months ago, I asked for some recommendations from my Facebook friends on where to go with the hopes in 2025 to start getting my mouth straightened out, now that I'm getting my health worked on.Well around Christmas, I started experiencing some discomfort and pain on my right side, but I was able to control with Tylenol and Ibuprofen, as it started to get worse, my primary care doctor added in Amoxicillin and that was working temporarily. Finally, I hit my breaking point and had to call the dentist to set up an appointment. After weighing several choices, I decided to go to Today's Smiles.They were able to get me in this morning and the dental assistant Lory and Dr. Shushtari were awesome. After getting my history, x-rays, and discussion of my future with my teeth, they both suggested we save the teeth instead of extraction. I didn't even realize I was in the chair for 2 hours by the time they finished my double root canal. Everyone was very friendly, explained everything that they were doing, and made sure that I didn't feel the slightest bit of discomfort. Honestly, this is the best experience I have ever had at a dentist.Here i am several hours later, still numb, but I'm not in any pain and feel very happy with the direction I am headed with my teeth now.

Cracked a front tooth 2 days before a trip. Called at 8, got an appointment an hour later. 30 minutes later walked out looking great. Dr. was super concerned it not only looked good but felt good for me.

I was initially referred to Dr. Dave Shushstari while visiting a friend in Waterford & I was so impressed with the professional & kind treatment I received that I decided I would continue to drive from the Upper Peninsula for all of my dental needs. It may sound crazy but Dr. Dave Shushstari actually makes a visit to the dentist a pleasant experience. His dental assistants & the receptionist are always welcoming & knowledgeable too. I expected to have at least a little pain during a tooth implant process but I have had absolutely none! I have never had a dentist whom I have trusted & liked as much as Dr. Dave Shushstari.

Dr. Shushtari is a kind and caring dentist.I have a chronic disease that has destroyed my teeth, so I have allot of anxiety with dental appointments.My first appointment I was so happy that I finally found a dentist that I can trust and that truly cares.His assistant and receptionist were also very kind and helpful.My only regret is that I didn't find this dental practice sooner.

This has to be the most compassionate and kind doctors office I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. Everything starts at the front desk, you're greeted with a smile and a warm welcome,really feels like I'm visiting old friends. The wait is never long, not that the waiting room is boring, television and tons of mags. The technician brings you back to which ever room serves your need. If the doctor is busy or behind you are informed right away, by the doctor himself or by staff. The technician makes kind small talk and they aren't afraid to get in on a joke or two. When the doctor arrives he always has a smile under his mask and a remark from previous visit or conversation. I have never felt at ease at a dentist office. I do here. Dr. Shushtari is an artist and has given me a completely new mouth with out dentures😁❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😁
