My wife had her root canal performed by Dr. Saehee Kim at San Jose Endodontics. She was very gentle and excised the nerve pain issue immediately. My wife's nerves around that root (tooth #29) had been intermittently bothering her for quite a long time (several years). Finally on recommendation from our dental implant surgeon Dr. Joseph Kim at Smile Plant Clinic we were referred to Dr. Saehee Kim. The root canal was done in June 2022. My wife has been pain free from it ever since and we are so grateful to have met such a well experienced and gifted specialist in Dr. Kim. Thank you to her.

I had my 1st ever Root Canal today. I had no idea what to expect but I definitely thought it would be painful. When I made the appointment I was assured I would be fine to go to work after. Well, I’m happy to report they were exactly right. Dr. Kim was awesome. She took X-Rays and did a couple of tests beforehand to make sure a root canal was what I truly needed. She explained the procedure and I was in and out of the office in about an hour. I have had absolutely no pain at all. What a relief!

Dr. David Chow and his staff are simply wonderful.Not too long ago, I was experiencing excruciating and throbbing pain on my lower right jaw. My dentist referred me to San Jose Endodontics to have the tooth be re-treated with a root canal. From my very first contact with this dental office, I already felt comfortable. The receptionist was very sympathetic and fit me into their schedule as soon as they could.I have had plenty of dental work in my lifetime and was definitely NOT looking forward to another root canal. However, upon meeting Dr. Chow, all of my fears and anxiety quickly went away. I can honestly say that the entire procedure was completely painless. He was personable, thorough, and very gentle. Dr. Chow and his assistant worked seamlessly together to save my hopeless tooth.Thank you so much for all your hard work, Dr. Chow. There isn’t a better Endodontist in the Bay Area! You are my hero!

I've been always afraid of doing dental work since I was young, but this time was different. Today I did a root canal on my third trimester and Dr.Chow explained every steps his doing and was being very gentle. The whole procedures were not painful at all. (except little pinch for the local anesthesia, but it was tolerable!) I would definitely recommend Dr.Chow.

The team led by Dr. Sandra Lara is simply, and often quite subtly, superb!Beyond amazingly skilled and patient with this novice, if not reluctant, mid 40's fellow sitting for his first ever root canal. It took two visits/stints in the chair, however, both comfortable and for good cause as I remained confident in Dr. Lara, her work, her patient manner, prognosis to progress.Should you find yourself in need of an exceptional Endo; look no further.Now matter how you find a treatment path to Dr. Lara; it's the way to go!Many thanks, hope to see you again, just not in that chair if possible...
