As a Dental Clinic, Sage Dental of Winter Park likely provides a variety of dental services to address the oral health needs of the local community. These services typically include general dentistry such as check-ups, cleanings, fillings, and potentially other restorative or cosmetic dental procedures. They aim to be a provider for ongoing dental care.
Based on recent customer reviews, it's important for prospective patients to be aware of some reported issues. One patient, while intending to continue with Sage Dental due to their existing dental history, mentioned several areas for potential improvement. These include experiencing a 15-minute wait despite being the first appointment of the day, observing what seemed like unprofessional and noisy socializing among staff during early hours, and being incorrectly charged a broken appointment fee that required personal vigilance to rectify.
Another customer expressed significant dissatisfaction due to multiple appointment cancellations by the clinic. They reported two cancellations despite receiving reminders to attend, with the second instance occurring after the patient arrived for their appointment because the dentist, reportedly Dr. Fernandez, was unavailable. This reviewer noted that receptionists' comments suggested this might be a recurring issue and expressed frustration at wasted time.
Local users considering Sage Dental of Winter Park should take these recent experiences into account. While specific details about the clinic's environment beyond the mentioned issues or any potential promotional offers are not provided, the feedback highlights potential concerns regarding punctuality, professionalism, and appointment reliability. It may be advisable to inquire about these aspects when contacting the clinic directly.

Sage Dental of Winter Park Reviews
0-stars if I could, staff was friendly but deceptive and seemed to be grifting for more money. Context: I went here for a dental cleaning which requires a Pre-Cleaning meeting now. At this meeting, they analyzed my teeth and said I needed a “deep cleaning” that was so intense it would require numbing/localized anesthesia because they said I had a low level of gum disease. I did not believe this, but wanted to get a cleaning so I requested to schedule a normal cleaning anyways and they refused. I went to a different dentist and was told there was nothing wrong with my gums. They tried to upcharge me by hundreds of dollars that my insurance wouldn’t pay for something I didn’t have. Very untrustworthy.
Dec 06, 2024 · Alyssa KuhnI've never had a more dishonest, "only after your money" vibe at any establishment. I went in for a cleaning. After xrays, they said I needed a "deep cleaning" procedure - not covered by insurance and very expensive (over $1,100).They said they couldn't even do a normal clean until the deep clean was performed. It felt scammy, but I signed up for carecredit since they were so pushy and they're the professionals, right? Ultimately, I decided I didn't trust them and changed dentists. The new dentist said my teeth were fine and performed a standard cleaning. I asked Sage for a refund for the unused portion of my carecredit (the second half of the deep clean) but they said I had to contact carecredit for a refund. Carecredit says I have to contact Sage. I'm stuck, out of pocket, and highly disappointed in Sage.
