I would rate this dentist as 0 start if there is this option.In January 2012, my daughter started an orthodontic treatment at Quality Dental Care located at 1842 Beacon Street, Brookline, MA 02445(Dr. Xinghai Yang). Before treatment, the Quality Dental Care signed a contract with us, it proposed the total cost is $4,000. The treatment period was 18 months.We told the dental office that we have two dental insurances. Both coverages are $2000. The dental office told us that according to their experience, the insurance company will not pay in full. They anticipate that two insurances can pay up to $3000. Depends on how much the dental insurance will cover the cost, we would be responsible for the difference. So they requested $1,000 deposit before the treatment and we paid.As shown in our insurance statements, One dental insurance paid total of $1,982 ( paid $982 on 01/08/2012, and $1,000 on 01/08/2013 ). Another one paid $1,800 total (up to 01/14/2013). Therefore, our two dental insurance companies paid $3,782 in total to Quality Dental Care to cover the treatment cost. This means our responsibility is the difference of $218 ($4,000-$3,782). Since the Quality Dental was holding our $1000 deposit, they should return $782 deposit to us.However, the Quality Dental Care always says "Dental insurance did not send us the final bill, and we can not return $782 to you”. We have requested multiple times to Quality Dental Care, but they refused to do it and intended to keep this money.Before we brought Quality Dental Care to the court, they made up an excuse "over payment" and sent this money to the Dental Insurance. In the court hearing, the Quality Dental Care lied to the judge that our Dental insurance's coverage is $1000, Dental Insurance overpaid so they had returned $782 to Dental Insurance.After the court hearing, the court entered judgment in favor of the dentist and thought they did not owe our money since they had sent the money to the Delta dental.After the hearing, we contacted the Dental Insurance and was told that it was dentist office voluntery refund this $782 to the dental insurance. Our coverage is $2000. Their whole process is correct and there was not any over payment.This dentist won the case, but he is a liar.
