I had a dental emergency and accidentally scheduled the wrong day appointment. I left work early to go during a very busy time and found out I had the wrong day. Dr Dessereaux took me anyways and did a wonderful job. He and his staff were so kind and supportive. I highly recommend!!!

Been going to New Haven Dental group in Branford for over a year. Dr. Dessereaux is a excellent dentist. Very happy with my decision to change dentists. His assistant and office staff are always pleasant

I have been going to this dentist office for yrs, when Dr Coulture was there, he was terrific, however, this new dentist who took over his practice in branford, in my opinion, I felt he didn’t have my best interest. Example is as follows: I had a crown that cracked at the top of the tooth. He couldn't take a new xray because he & his tech couldn’t get the computer to take a new xray so he looked at a previous xray of mine & then he told me my tooth had to be removed, it couldn’t be saved, I said,”the tooth portion was still inside gum as when the crown was installed & I thought the tooth was ok to install a new crown but he still insisted no it had to be removed & if I wanted a new tooth, it would have to be an implant”. He then quoted me a price for removing & replacing a tooth, then turned around & said he couldn’t remove the tooth because the root was very long & curved.( he was only looking at an older xray of mine). I didn’t trust what he was saying so I went go see another dentist for a second opinion . The new dentist took an X-ray & told me the tooth did not need to be removed ( removing the tooth was not needed, the tooth had enough material left on it so a crown could be replaced & it could be saved & the xray showed that the root didn’t have a curve in it. I didn’t need an implant, a new crown could be installed. He misdiagnosed 2 things about my tooth without having a current xray -1) about the tooth having to be removed & that he couldn’t do the extraction because the root was curved , he wanted to refer me to an oral surgeon to do the extraction but he still wanted an outrageous price just to put a crown on the implant($3700), I asked him why that price was still $3700 when the oral surgeon was doing the other part of the implant , he wasn’t doing anything but the crown because he referred all the preparation of the tooth to the oral surgeon so he just had to install a crown onto the implanted tooth that the oral surgeon did, he said” no, the price will still be $3700”. I would advise anyone seeing this dentist to get a second opinion.

My New Haven Dental teeth cleaning appointment was great. Along with the friendly front desk, my hygienist took me a few minutes ahead of my appointment and was very thorough, professional and friendly.
