So stepping aside and realizing what was really going on here took a little bit. Normally when I see a new dentist,they start with a x-rays and a mouth cleaning. Not this office. They immediately told me the expensive stuff that needed to be done. No mouth cleaning.They did charge a consultation fee though.They called said I needed to go back. Had no idea I was not going for a cleaning. What they did was had me speak to a dentist who then charged me another consultation fee. Still no cleaning. Then I have a procedure done this was right around Christmas last year. Something I paid thousands for our of pocket. That procedure was done by a dentist who was on his way out the door. I felt like it was a procedure that was pushed to pad his pockets before he left. If you don't know that most dental offices share profits, or get a percentage of what procedures are done, you should be aware of that. I reached out to Katie Hogan who said I could reach out to her on her personal line. Which didn't sit right with me. Upon further research, I found the number she wanted me to call was for a school linked to Light Dental. When I declined she invited me to go to their Puyallup office. I didn't understand why since I had already explained to her I get charged for something Everytime I step foot in there even when nothing is done. I told her I will spend no more money with Light Dental, even gas money. Katie Hogan never responded after that. Which leads me to believe she didn't really care about my complaints. My advice to anyone going here is to make sure you know what's being done. What prices to expect. A smiling face is always nice to see, but do you know what the smile is for? I didn't and this mistake cost me a lot."
