Dec 02, 2024 · Caroline RingI would like to preface this review b6y saying I am elderly, ambulate with a walker and had to make arrangements for transportation since I no loner drive. Yesterday I arrived at this office at 11:00 for my scheduled appointment with my dentist to have cavities filled. While trying to check in there was some discussion amongst staff at front desk before a woman came out to speak with me .She informed me that because I did not answer my home telephone the day before when this office called to confirm my appointment, that I had been " bumped" today, "meaning my appointment had been given to another patient. I was told I could either re-schedule or wait and see " a new dentist.. "I explained to the staff that my 99 year old mother lives with me and that I had to leave her for a few minutes while I ran a quick errand. I added that she probably didn.t answer the phone because she did' not recognize the number. Staff again re-iterated my choices. In further discussion with another staff member I was told that they have to operate this way otherwise " It messes with the dentist's schedule." I told them to please cancel any future appointments as I would not be coming back.
