I had been out of town for the holiday when my broken wisdom tooth started to give me a problem. I was lucky to find ideal dental and Dr Macias. They got me right in and were extremely kind. Within a half hour I was out of pain! They were amazing. I highly recommend Dr Macias and her team!! Thank you ladies for taking care of me!

I was very skeptical due to some poor recent reviews, but apparently they have a new doctor, Dr. Macias. I’m usually worried going to new places because I feel they always find something wrong but she explained everything in detail to make me feel confident in my treatment and not taken advantage of. Clean office and great staff as well. Great experience and I’ve found my new dentist!

I had been going to this location for several years, but wow did it change. When I found them, I had a dentist phobia. They helped me get over it. Now, they have a different dentist who said I needed a deep cleaning. I left that appointment and another one crying. I declined to complete a second cleaning because I’m right back to where I started: terrified of the dentist. I won’t be going back.I would like to add that they do have very nice hygienists and the office staff was nice and always respectful.

I went in for a normal checkup here and saw Dr Sheikh. They took xrays and pics first and without even going through my gums or any cleaning/checkup, Dr Sheikh prescribed me $4500 in work. She said my gums were in bad shape and swollen, so I needed a deep cleansing and invasive gum flushing to begin with. She also said I had 6-7 cavities and my two front teeth were falling apart quickly so I needed veneers to protect/cover them. I wanted another opinion with a bill this large and my old family dentist had a WAY different prescription. My gums did NOT need $1000 in deep cleaning and they even said that type of cleansing would have hurt way more than it helped because it is invasive. They also only found 4 cavities (grinding my teeth) and also said with my bite form, new veneers ($2k) would be a waste of money and would be falling/popping off all the time. I got everything corrected (including capping my front teeth) for $1450. DO NOT see this Wylie Ideal Dental location! They are either a scam (or completely incompetent) and are only interested in racking up a large bill of unnecessary work!

Zero is the real rating. Ridiculous experience start to finish. I was a patient of Ideal in Dallas so I thought using the office in Wylie would be easy. I tried to make an appointment for cleaning but they said I must go through the entire new patient X-rays and exam before cleaning. My husband and I made appointments for the same day and to no surprise we were given the exact same BS.“Several 7 mm pockets with tartar under the gum line. Deep scaling under anesthesia, antibiotics, and medicated rinse needed. Also replace current silver filling.” We have gone every 6 months for 30 years and never heard such nonsense. Ideal in Wylie is out to make as much money as they can, not patient care. Stay far away from them.Update… beware of the rest of their scam. Before the appointment I asked if my insurance was going to cover new X-rays and they said “yes, we have already authorized it with them”. Now, my insurance denied the claim and Ideal wants me to pay for them. I have refused.
