Can’t recommend this facility enough. I just received a gum graft this morning that I was absolutely terrified to get initially, but Dr. Matsuda and his team were professional and caring and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Thank you for making sure I understood what was going on, and being kind even though I was nervous.

Doctors were very Pleasant, I was amazed how professional the staff was and friendly. The office seems to be a nice little oasis off the street and the busyness of the area. Highly recommend if you’re having their services.

Most horrible experience: After I paid over $ 300.00 for the evaluation the doctor told me he needs 3-4 days to get my treatment plan ready. After I paid at the front desk they gave me a appointment 6 weeks (!) later to find out. After waiting 6 weeks I finally got my treatment plan, verbally, without telling me the cost. Then the dentist send me to the front desk to find out the cost of my treatment. There it turned preposterous. They told me in order to get the cost of my treatment I have to sign a consent form first. How can I consent to anything if I don’t know how much money they want to charge me, preposterous. Several minutes later they had three people surrounding me, urging me to sign the consent form in order to get the estimate and ‘no’, the form is ‘not allowed to leave the office’ to read at home. This reminded me of the shade car dealership I went to recently. I walked out and called the ethics department of the Oregon American Dental Association, they where interested to investigate the questionable behavior of this practice. I never found out what Matsuda had planed to charge me and went a wonderful Periodontist near Washington Square instead. I can only recommend others to avoid Hillsboro Implants & Periodontics.
