I underwent a tooth extraction at their facility in early November 2024, specifically on a Friday. Upon leaving the office, I was not provided with any antibiotics, which led to an infection accompanied by severe pain; I was only given painkillers. By Monday, unable to endure the discomfort any longer, I returned to the facility, where the doctor examined the situation and performed a cleaning. The pain was indescribable, and when the doctor inquired about my antibiotics, I informed him that none had been prescribed. It became apparent that the assistant had neglected to provide them. As a diabetic patient, I was understandably concerned about potential complications. On that day, after I raised the issue, they finally administered the antibiotics, yet there was no apology or follow-up regarding my condition. The following day, I returned due to ongoing pain, only to be asked for a co-pay. I expressed my disappointment, highlighting their failure to provide the necessary medication, to which the receptionist acknowledged the oversight. When Dr. Godoy attended to me, he appeared rushed and irritated by my return. It took nearly three weeks for the pain to subside, but I still experience lingering discomfort. Subsequently, I received a filling as recommended by the doctor, but now I experience pain when eating on that side, a condition that did not exist prior to the treatment. My wife is now apprehensive about visiting their facility, prompting me to seek a new dentist. They should have at least followed up or offered a courtesy refund for their error, yet there was no acknowledgment of responsibility, leaving me with the impression that the fault lay with me.
