Even though it had been 18 years since I had one, I figured it happens and he filled it for me. He redid another filling I had and misplaced the anesthetic and it instead affected my vocal cords and made it somewhat hard to breathe. He did apologize and asked me to concentrate on my breathing while he redio my filling. I couldn't talk, eat or even drink for a couple of hours because I lost control over those muscles. I came back for my 6 month cleaning and he told me I had another cavity. This set off alarm bells because two in a year doesn't sound possible for the way I take care of my teeth. I went to two other dentist, in different offices and unrelated, and they both told me it is staining and not a cavity as nothing 'stuck' or was 'sticky'. I'll never know if that other cavity really was a cavity or just staining and I hope I have better luck finding a new dentist."
