Just had my entire DUMBO loft redone last month by Floor Coverings International Staten Island and cannot overstate how wonderful the experience was. Hussein, the owner, personally came to see the space, provide floor samples and give an estimate. The cost was fully HALF of what several general contractors had quoted me. He and his team worked on a really tight timeline, did impeccable work, and at every turn, Hussein went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with the results. I really wanted a brass spacer in an area where the wood ran in different directions - Hussein went to a specialized store on his day off to get this hard-to-find piece (it's not a standard flooring piece) and it's such a gorgeous detail. Thanks Hussein for such a wonderful experience!!

Floor Coverings did an incredible job for our home and the refinishing was beautiful. They truly did an excellent job and even were able to repair damages and match empty spaces we had in our floor. I would highly recommend them to anyone reading this or looking for quality work.

This was a great experience. We had a flood in our basement and had to redo everything. Floor covering international Staten Island and Hussein were unbelievable throughout the whole process. From the initial consultation to the timely estimate to the day the work began. The crew was professional and they said 3 days and it was done in 3 days. And it looks amazing. Better than I ever expected. I have no reservations about recommending them. Btw the basement is 1200 sq ft and they not only did the floors but all the molding as well.Absolutely fantastic job. Thank you.
