When I was looking for a destist, this clinic was recommended by my coworker as the best in the city, and it really proved to be. I've been going to this clinic for 2 years, and every scaling was done very thoroughly. They send out appointment reminders to keep you in the loop. My wisdom tooth removal went very smooth. I was very comfortable and painless as they applied a topical anesthetic before freezing, and I was frozen well. The extraction itself took less than 30 seconds. Dr.Lee is very empathetic, professional, witty, easy to interact with, and certainly knows what he is doing. You feel right at home. I am happy that I found Dr.Lee, because now I feel like I have my go to dentist I can rely on and I'm all set. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience at Dentistry at Bank Street with Dr. Lee and his team. They successfully managed a challenging crown case related to a deep implant. After nine years of treating my gum and bone issues and consulting numerous dentists and surgeons, Dr. Lee stood out as the best for me. Despite substantial bone loss in my missing canine area, the crown surpassed my expectations—appearing remarkably natural and blending seamlessly with my teeth. Dr. Lee and his dental assistant created a welcoming environment, and I am thoroughly pleased with the result. Furthermore, their affordable pricing adds to the overall commendable experience.

Yesterday I had a root canal done on two of my front teeth. I have extreme enxiety(had a dentist rip piece of sinus out years ago). First, Dr. Lee was extremely professional (and funny). When he says he knows what he's doing, he really does. He worked at my pace and helped me work through the anxiety. The intervention was painless, the stopped and allowed me to breathe as needed(hand up = stop). It was done before I knew it with less discomfort than I've ever felt. The assistants bedside manner was impeccable, she was kind, she showed empathy and talked me through a lot of the anxiety alongside Dr. Lee. They are both appreciated. One tooth/appointment at a time, I'll have my smile back! Thank you both!

Comprehensive dental care with an amazing dentist! If you need a dentist in Ottawa Dr. Melvin Lee is awesome. I went to a few high rated dentists in Ottawa and they didn’t even come close to the level of care and expertise his team can offer.

I rarely leave 1 star review, but this clinic and the doctor there were unprofessional and rude (the rude part is about the doctor). I was looking for a dentist for my father who has several medical conditions. He requires IV sedation, and was previously a patient at Sedation Dental, who had no issues offering dental services and specifically IV sedation to him. I was informed (over the phone) that the clinic offers these services in conjunction with another clinic. I explained to them in detail what medical conditions he has in advance and SPECIFICALLY told them that I don't want to have him come in for an appointment (given that he lives in a long term care), if they have any issues offering treatment to a patient like this.Guess what? He comes in for an appointment and 5 mins after, i get a phone call saying they will not offer him treatment. The doctor (doctor Lee?) said that he will not offer services because they don't offer sedation at the clinic (so why did your reception tell me before that you do?)... when i pressed him on being informed earlier that they do, i was advised he would not be treated b/c of his medical conditions. So why did the other clinic have no problem with offering him treatment? I suspect the doctor at this clinic is simply lying and disinterested in patients with difficult medical conditions. I don't see a reason why change the story on sedation? Either you offer it or you don't. As I said, Sedation Dental had no issues offering treatment? The doctor was quite rude, and i don't think he appreciates the fact that dragging someone of long term care for 3 hours to be told you won't treat them is at best disrespectful. Again, I asked BEFORE the appointment to advise.In short, very unprofessional and rude behavior. Don't recommend.
