We had such great experiences with Dr Gilkes. My son had to come in for 8 (!?!) cavities over 4 sessions. Dr is kind, patient and does good work. Don’t judge by the exterior of the building, this is a good place.

I had scheduled an appointment last week October 28 for my 5 year old daughter for a year check up I called yesterday November 5 to see if I could change her appointment to Thursday instead of Wednesday today but they told me dr wasn’t gonna be in on Thursday so I said that’s no problem let’s keep the appointment for Wednesday today we came in and had us wait then sent us home because “the receptionist forgot to inform the doctor she had appointments today” or just trying to cover up the mistake from the dr herself very unprofessional very irresponsible no call no nothing to let us know the “dr wasn’t going to be in today” that’s crazy to me then wanted to make an appointment for Saturday WE WONT BE BACK !

*REVIEW CHANGED..SEE UPDATE BELOW**Columbia dental did what I’ve been trying to get done for years for my daughters oral health care in 2 visits! I went to a private practice every 6months for everything to be the same if not worse. I came to Columbia and even at the time of booking an appointment everyone was helpful and nice. I was about 20min late to her first appointment after getting lost and they stilltook her and didn’t give us grief about it. I love that they are open on Saturdays so I don’t disrupt my daughters school or my work. The staff is great and the dentists were excellent. I don’t see me bringing my daughter else where after this! I would highly recommend them!!!**UPDATE**What I thought was a great experience was short lived. My daughter had a few cavities which dentist would only fill a couple at a time..we go every six months so it’s crazy how all of the cavities are yet to be filled..she only had five..she was also supposed to have teeth pulled as her baby teeth refused to fall out and the over crowding causes her discomfort when eating but that didn’t get done either..they kept talk about braces when they weren’t even finished with what they were supposed to do. I ended up leaving due to lack of care…updating my review to a one star!!!

This office is amazing. The doctor and the office staff along with the technicians are always so sweet and accommodating. I never wait longer than 5 minutes past my appointment. And that is rare, I'm usually in there a little earlier than my appointment. The orthodontist and a technician staff made my son feel very comfortable when he got his braces on and off. I would recommend this practice to everybody.

They were so great with my son! He was able to be calm even while they were giving him numbing medicine in his gums and he quickly calmed down after feeling some pressure from his tooth being pulled. He did much better than me at his age but they also were much better with him than my dentist was when I was a kid. They even gave him the nose covering for the gas as a souvenir, some stickers and his tooth to give to the Tooth Fairy. 💓Everything has been clean and everyone has been so friendly at each visit. Thank You for all you guys do to give great care!
