Oct 08, 2024 · carol radzunasSeen today as a new patient for a routine cleaning. The dental hygienist was amazing, thorough with cleaning, and prioritized my comfort. My concerns felt heard by the Dentist. Overall, felt welcome by all the staff and would recommend this place for other new patients as well!
Sep 26, 2024 · FrancesThis review is a bit late but I feel the need to post it regardless. This incident and our displeasure with Cloverleaf Dental occurred towards the end of 2023.It seems all they care about is making money regardless of how.My wife went to Cloverleaf Dental Center because she needed a partial repair or a new one. She agreed to have them make her a new partial. Besides having a partial made, she had her dental checkup there as well, and it made sense to do so since she was due. We have dental insurance, but we still had to pay $800 out of pocket for the partial. My complaint is that when we finally received a total bill, they were charging us $111.00 out of pocket for an oral exam. On December 12, I called my insurance to inquire, I was told that we were allowed only 2 exams per year, but cloverleaf had put in a claim for 3 exams.I then called cloverleaf Dental to find out how that happened. After speaking to Lindsey, she transferred me to their insurance coordinator, who said she would have her manager call me. Since the manager did not call me, I called the next day. I waited till after 1:30 to see if someone would call. I called and finally spoke to the manager, Lisa. She immediately proceeded to tell me that she had spoken to the doctor who performed the exam and that she stood by what she did. My dispute, first of all, is that even if she had to do an exam, it should not have been an insurance claim. They told my wife that they would take care of anything that would go wrong with the partial within a 3 months period. The reason for my wife going back the day of the exam was because the partial was causing her cheek to be bitten while using it. (Mind you, I was initially told that the doctor had written a note saying that my wife was biting her cheek due to her old partial, which is a lie). Technically, anything they needed to do because of that should not have been charged. Lisa argued that 'absolutely it should be a charge', and she tried to make it sound like she was doing us a favor because they sent the partial out for repair without charging us. REALLY? She also blamed us for not knowing how our insurance works with all the claim codes. Again, REALLY? Doesn't that mainly falls on them. After all, they're the ones putting in the claims. It's amazing to me how these professionals always throw out that argument and blame their patients. The least they could have done was to advise my wife that the 3rd exam done in November would not be covered since they had put a claim in for the bogus one earlier. Lisa tried to tell me that it's not their responsibility to know that. I guess their responsibility is just to make as much money as possible from every patient.I guess, to these people money takes precedent over patients, and that's what drives these sorts of actions for the most part. They'll argue with you, "Come hell or high water," to make that buck. I guess that's more important than pleasing and keeping a client/patient. Good luck!PS: I've seen some of their scripted responses to other negative reviews trying to explain away the complaint. They never accept that they might just be at fault and should accept some responsibility for what happened. They don't want to be held accountable no matter what!
Nov 10, 2024 · Santos CruzThe lady who cleaned my teeth was very nice, caring and knowledgeable. Having that computer right next to us she was able to take real pictures of my teeth and explain what was happening to my gums from over brushing. With this visual fear and her dental knowledge I WILL be taking better care of these teeth and gums!!
