So I made a mistake.....I have always paid immediately every time after I received a bill from Carbondale family dental. I have been going to them for over 4 years and never had a problem. Then I missed two appointments in back to back weeks when I was taking my EMT finals at Colorado Mountain College. I have never missed medical appts in the past and do not intend to in the future. It was an honest mistake and a first for me. I was just swamped with work and finals. The woman who called told me it would be $85 dollars for missing the appt. I explained to her that it wasn't like me and I had been going there for a long time. She said that it didn't matter and I owed the $85 dollars. I told here I would not pay because I always pay on time and was just super busy with school and work. She said quote " you will not longer be allowed to reschedule or do dental work here until the bill is paid in full." She was talking to me like I was a child. I told her I understood but wasn't going to pay and to have a good day. Today I received a bill for a $75 dollar total. I am a contractor. Sometimes I will travel to a clients home to do an estimate and they won't even be home. It has happened many times. I have never charged a client for missing an appt. People have lives and make mistakes we all do. Overall I thought the treatment was a little over the top. I have probably spent 1500 to 3000 dollars with them in the last four years and I will no longer be giving them my business. Regardless I thought you all should know. I am going to pay the bill because missing the appointments was wrong. I am going to take my business down to CRYSTAL VALLEY DENTAL in Carbondale, CO though because they are the best dentist in the freaking world!!!!!!! Good luck Carbondale family dental I hope that you find a client who is better suited for your needs!!!!

While I wish I didn't visit Andrew as much as I have been, every experience with him has been beyond exceptional. From follow-ups for implants to root canals and cavities, He and his amazing staff have provided the best service of any dentist I've ever visited. Additionally, he has been phenomenal in communicating options that fit my needs and budget, as well as working with my insurance (or lack of) to ensure the best possible outcome. Each time I visit I leave with a massive sense of relief, wishing I had gone in sooner. I hope I don't go back soon, but if If the need arises, there will be no hesitation. Today I had an emergency visit to the office due to a throbbing toothache. Thankfully I could get an appointment quickly. What a great experience. Katy at the front office was very welcoming, Veronica the dental assistant competent and gentle. Dr. Andy Nardecchia was very thorough, easy to talk to and also very gentle. My initial experience with Carbondale Family Dental was wonderful. As mentioned in other reviews here, their team is professional, thoughtful and caring. Processing of insurance and paperwork was exceptionally easy and the front office team was so helpful. Unfortunately, after having three cavities filled at one time, I got a gum infection from food being impacted into the space left between my teeth from one of the fillings. Two months later, I had to have the second one replaced because a similar problem was starting. A year later, I am getting ready to book an appointment to have the third one replaced. I was also disappointed that no one from the practice followed up after I initially reported my concern. I ended up finding a new dentist to redo the fillings and didn't return to this practice. Perhaps my experience was an outlier, but I can't in good faith recommend the dental work at Carbondale Family Dental.

I have had ALOT of work done in the recent years.When the work started I shopped all around the roaring fork, I got a couple things done in a few different places but ultimately decided on carbondale family dental. The atmosphere is caring and kind. I’m always notified of appointments in a timely manner, and with the work I’ve had done.. I have felt genuinely looked out for at this office. Carbondale “Family” Dental is a perfect name because there is a comfort and familiarity that other larger offices can not offer.With peace and love. This is an amazing office that offers a very kind experience.
