Beware! When my wife asked they said they "took" Delta Dental. It was never explained that claiming to "take" Delta Dental was semantically different from being in the Delta Dental network. That seems purposefully, or maybe accidentally, deceptive. My wife trusted this was the amount our insurance would normally cover. But, we later found that in-network dentists have caps on what they can charge, and obviously they are not held to those guidelines. We paid significantly more than our Delta Dental insurance would have charged us with a different dentist for all services rendered. So, the issue was about being deceived with unclear semantics, either purposely or due to an oversight from the person that said they "take" Delta Dental. They still maintain they "take" Delta Dental. Part of this is on us...for being busy, and having a job, and not being a dental insurance expert. On another note, I was told I needed two crowns, and once I got a second opionon I only needed one crown, and I paid a 3rd of the price they quoted me here.
