This tooth was a cavity that was previously filled by Dr Ortiz. The tooth that was filled broke 1-3 years after getting the filling done. After my tooth broke I waited a whole month to get my temporary crown. The broken tooth got progressively worse due to the wait. I got my crown put in after 3 weeks of the temporary that popped out after day 2 I had to glue it on my own with Fixodent because it occurred on a Friday. They are closed all through the weekend. I got my permanent crown put in and was experiencing pain from day 1 and had so much sensitivity I had to get anesthesia to numb my mouth completely. Waited 2 weeks to get new bottom trays. Even before the appointment I told them of all the pain and discomfort I had. Dentist didn’t see me as she was supposed to. I only saw the dental assistant who told me to bite down and said everything was ok with my bite. She’s not a dentist so I don’t know why the dentist got so busy she didn’t see me directly. About a month later I am still experiencing a lot of pain just to chew on the left side. I cannot chew on that side at all. I’ve gone back too many times to correct an issue that still has not been fixed. I called the dentist Thursday to get an appointment soon. Only promised to get a call back. I have yet to receive a call back. I do NOT recommend this dentist anymore. I am constantly put on the back burner. I do not feel valued or treated well. Do me a big favor and go to a dentist who actually has availability to help you. Dentist is booked months and months out and clearly has no sense of urgency when you tell them you are experiencing pain and discomfort after a crown installation. I will be looking for a new dentist. I went to a new dentist who had to adjust the new crown since Dr Ortiz did NOTHING to HELP. I had to pay $110 for NEW full 360 panel X-rays and $30 to get the NEW crown adjusted by a NEW dentist. My bite was crooked for MONTHS because Dr. Ortiz never fully adjusted the crown. Thanks for NOTHING. I will NEVER go back to Dr. Ortiz ever again.
