Arch Dental of Manhattan Reviews
**Completely Unprofessional, Discriminatory, and Unethical – Avoid This Office at All Costs.**I cannot emphasize enough how horrendous my experience was at this office. I was openly discriminated against and denied service based on personal biases and stereotypes related to my disability. The office manager, Drena Drakes, was utterly unprofessional, canceling two appointments at the last minute without any valid explanation and then refusing to provide the services I had already paid for when I finally arrived. This kind of behavior is not only unacceptable, but downright unethical. There are numerous other reviews (filter reviews by rating and see YELP) from patients who have had similar negative experiences, which should be a clear warning to anyone considering this office. When I finally was allowed to speak with the doctor, I had already endured 30 minutes of disrespectful and degrading treatment. While the doctor, Dentist Jennifer Rodriguez, seemed to have a reasonable approach, she was constantly undermined by the office manager, Drena, who repeatedly injected her own personal bias into my consultation. To make matters worse, another technician decided to eavesdrop on my appointment, disrupting my consultation and engaging in name-calling. This is behavior that should not be tolerated in any professional setting. It’s clear that this office operates without any regard for its patients. Their lack of professionalism, disrespect, and blatant violations of legal and HIPAA guidelines is shocking. The office has zero concern for service animal accommodations, and they irresponsibly share sensitive patient data without consent. The entire experience was not just unpleasant—it was a violation of patient rights and dignity. I’m not surprised that their previous doctor left, given the toxic environment created by the office manager and the rest of the staff. If you value your time, personal dignity, or well-being, steer clear of this place. I am sharing this review in the hopes of sparing others from going through the same awful treatment. The reviews warning about this office's unethical practices, poor customer service, and mismanagement are absolutely accurate—don’t ignore them as I did. This office is a scam. Any positive reviews have no real data as the negative reviews share real stories. The office itself is also very outdated, the equipment and office floors were dirty. Do yourself a favor and find a different provider—anywhere but here. The dentist visit is painful enough; don’t subject yourself to the added stress and mistreatment this office delivers.

Nov 13, 2024 · Samuel TenaduThis is probably the best experience I’ve had at the dentist. The staff is warm and friendly, I feel informed and totally comfortable during my cleaning. It’s refreshing to feel like I am getting my questions answered and having things explained to me thoroughly. I’m glad I found Arch Dental!
Jul 31, 2024 · Jessica DePasqualeI take my oral care and health every seriously, knowing that my smile is an important and impactful part of both my professional and social lives. After 3 years of being a total psycho who wouldn’t settle for anything but the best in finding a new dentist, I FINALLY decided on seeing Dr. Reich and his team at Arch Dental, after rave reviews from my longtime VIP client who is their longtime patient. It was well worth the wait! Not only was the process informative and transparent, but the flow of team work from Drena at the front desk, to my exam and cleaning with Monserrat, to the full walk through of my oral health and immediate/long term needs with Dr. Reich was seamless and handed over with a sense of teamwork. The entire office was very patient with my questions and in ensuring I was confident in the understanding of our joint-decision care plan for my teeth. Also, the technology involved in their process was very impressive and helpful in learning about my teeth and gums.My experience was lighthearted, FUN, and engaging. I left my first visit feeling like I was genuinely cared for. I actually look forward to my next visit (not everyone can say this about dentist visits!).I am not one to accept second best at any service I seek in this city, and Arch Dental did not fall short on meeting my annoyingly high expectations. I highly recommend putting your trust and care in Dr. Reich and his team.
Jul 06, 2023 · Enrique OrdonezPleasant staff. I’m happy with the cleaning and preventative care. Doctor and hygienist were patient with my questions. Great contemporary elevator music throughout the office as well. I’ll be back every 6 months!
