I have had regular annual dental hygiene sessions by their most efficient hygienist Christine. Over the years several cavities filled.But recently was in need of a “crown”!I have heard the many horror stories of getting a crown. Never had I expected to experience the exact opposite having Dr. George Ambus and his senior assistant Ben perform the procedure.They were a great team working quickly, in unison, and with MINIMUM discomfort! Very professional yet genuine care for their patients. A 5 Star rating is not sufficient to document my last excellent experience at Ambus Denistry.

Dr. Ambus and his staff are attentive, detailed, and intentional with their process and procedures. He is willing to take the time to explain the results of your x-rays and what will or will not happen if you maintain proper health care. He'll make recommendations to improve your oral health but not up-sell something you don't need in the current time. I'd recommend to someone looking for a new dentist.

Dr. Ambus is a dentist that you find and keep until you either move far away or they retire. He tells it to you straight (but nicely), is very professional, and super friendly. I found him when I was having an emergency, (called after hours because my toothache was causing painful headaches, and he responded back that same night). He was able to see me the following day (Saturday) when most dental offices were closed. A dentist who is open when others are not, and then also calls back after hours deserves 5 stars alone.The office is easy to get to, parking is no issue. The music they play in the background is my kinda jam (extra star for the music alone), and it helps drown out the drilling and all the fun teeth cleaning noise you would hear otherwise.My hygienist, Christine, makes good conversation as she works on my teeth. Super sweet, and very diligent with her work. (another star for her)The male assistant they got, who is always there, yet I never remember his name, is nice and helpful.
