I was able to get an emergency visit at Advanced Family Dental with Oral Surgeon, Dr Jason Jamali at 6338 S Pulaski Ave in Chicago.I had a cracked tooth, an abscess, and an inch of swelling on my left cheek.The doctor came in after the x-ray was taken and asked what was going on. He said he would be able to extract the tooth that same day. I was taken to the surgery room, the doctor came in and sloppily shoved numbing gel in my mouth. He then inserted an instrument in my mouth and rested it directly on the abscess. He moved it after I indicated I was in pain. He immediately proceeded to jab my gums with a needle with no interruptions between jabs. When I cried out in pain he walked out of the room. His nurse told me he would not proceed if I continued to cry out in pain. After a few minutes, he came back and lanced my abscess with letting me know (the only reason I know is because I heard him whisper to the nurse). He then proceeded to insert an instrument into my gums to dislodge my tooth as I cried out in pain, he stormed out of the room again. His nurse told me he was not going to continue because I was crying out and to go to the front and make another appointment. She then walked out of the room and just left me lying in the chair. I got up, looking for the nurse, begging, please don't leave me like this. She said to go to the front and make an appointment, not even looking at me while she went on with whatever she was doing. I left, still in pain.

The whole crew here is comfortable to be with. Very patient. Ask Questions though. Having teeth pulled is a permanent decision. Options Need to be discussed .
